Eliminate Rigging with Adjustable HDR Monitor

Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K features a bright 5" touchscreen HDR monitor that can be tilted up to 180 degrees flat and down to 47 degrees. This means that you can get a perfect shot from almost any angle without needing any additional rigging! Plus, the 1500 nit high brightness screen makes monitoring easy, even in direct sunlight. You can even preserve battery life by selecting to dim the screen for power saving when the camera is not in use! Convenient finger grip tabs are integrated into the design of the fold out monitor to allow for easy adjustment for the perfect screen position. It’s now even easier to frame shots and get perfect focus!

Advanced Thermal Management

Keeping the image sensor and internal components cool is incredibly important because it directly affects image quality. Cooler sensors can run at higher frame rates and capture cleaner images with less noise than a hot sensor. That’s why Blackmagic Cinema Camera is designed with a patented two-way thermal management system that features liquid cooling. A series of heatsink vent grills draws the heat away from the FPGA processor and image sensor. As the heat is drawn away from critical components, the liquid flows to cooling fins that are designed and specifically angled to minimize intrusion of dust or other contaminants.

The mini XLR inputs feature 48 volts of phantom power, perfect for connecting professional boom and lapel microphones. You can also use the 3.5mm input to connect standard video camera microphones.
